Greetings,

As we embark upon our 2023 Grizzly football season, I wanted to take a moment to thank all the people who make our team successful and who have supported me and the other great football coaches here at NHS. The players, parents, fellow coaches, and administration have all contributed to the team improving on all levels this past year, and for that, I’m truly grateful and inspired. I’m beginning my 5th season as the Head Coach of the Grizzlies and couldn’t be more proud of where the program is today. Our program has come a long way since that first season our school and players have embraced the cultural change throughout the program.

The players, parents, and fellow coaches have embraced the “trust the process” motto and built the Northridge football program to be the best in the City of Greeley. Last year was the second year in a row that we made the playoffs and expectations are high to continue to build on that success.  The excitement is real, and we are looking forward to a great season this fall.

A couple of key foundational elements of our program are trust, commitment and giving back.  The players have fully embraced these values and have proven their trust in the coaching staff, their commitment to the program by putting in the work this offseason, and their unselfish hard work giving back to our very community. Our goal as coaches is not to just build great football players, but to develop teenage boys into young men that are honest, dependable, have integrity, and have a strong work ethic. The players are committed to building something great, not just for the current team, but for future teams as well.

I can’t thank you all enough for allowing my staff and me to be their coaches and mentors.

I hope everyone enjoys the 2023 season and comes to our games to cheer on the Grizzlies!  Win or lose, I can promise you our student athletes will play with passion, intensity, and integrity.

Thank you again for your support, Go Griz!

Respectfully,

Coach Hayden
